A body believed to belong to local rapper WizDaWizard was discovered early in the early hours of Friday March 29th in Hallandale Beach. At around 8:15, officers found the dead body within the backyard of the house close to Northwest 6th Terrace/10th Street. In a number of posts, rapper WizDaWizard has been identified as the perpetrator. Hallandale Beach Police have not confirmed the identity of the deceased or stated the circumstances that led to his death but they have said the existence of "unusual circumstances" in the case. Hallandale Beach Police Department Captain Megan Jones stated that the victim is well-known to South Florida residents, but we're unable to release his name at the moment because of the integrity of the investigation, as well as to be sure that we have informed the family. Residents informed NBC 6 no one has been living in the residence which the corpse was found over the past several months. The police are also looking into the shooting of rapper SpotemGottem when he was cruising on I-95.
