Molly Tarlov is an American actor best known for her role in the recurring character Sadie Saxton in the teen comedy-drama TV series Awkward from 2011. Tarlov is the eldest daughter of two, and was born in Manhattan. When she was 10years old, Tarlov started her acting career with the production Bye Bye Birdie, at Little Red School House. Seventh graders who attended the show were awestruck. Her summers were spent studying at NYU Tisch and Interlochen Center for the Arts. She was trained in a variety of acting styles and received her bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Bennington College. The Atlantic Theater Company is where she also studied. At the LAByrinth Theater, Master Class, Molly was able integrate writing with her acting. Molly changed her winter coat in exchange for black sunglasses, and headed to Los Angeles. After a brief period, she landed a small role on iCarly that attracted a lot attention from her friends and family. In the years since, she's made several TV appearances. In addition, she created the character Caitlin on Winnie Holzman's ABC Family show Huge. Molly likes to make up stories that she is good at basketball, even though it's not true. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
